John was a pleasure to look after from the moment he arrived at hailsham house, always had a smile and enjoyed a chat.
John really took to the activities which he participated in most days.
Although, John was mostly happy when chomping on a bag of sweets!
I speak for all the staff when I say what a pleasure it was to have John with us and to look after him, even though he never quite got my name right, but if I ever heard 'George!' Or 'David!' I knew he was calling for me!!!!

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
